Community rules
Respect Everyone
Treat every member with courtesy. Harassment, hate speech, or discrimination of any kind will get you removed without warning.
No Spamming or Self-Promotion
Don't flood channels with repeat messages, and don't constantly plug your own projects, newsletter, or startup. Share when it's actually relevant.
Stay on Topic
Keep conversations relevant to the channel you're in. Use threads to keep replies tidy, and take off-topic chatter to a DM or the right channel.
No NSFW
No explicit, graphic, or shock content of any kind. This applies to text, images, links, memes, and profile pictures.
Keep What's Shared Here, Here
Interview questions, comp numbers, referral notes, and personal stories don't get screenshotted or posted on Twitter. Trust is what makes this place useful.
No Alternate Accounts
One person, one account. Don't use alts to dodge bans, sneak friends in past the application, or inflate engagement.
No Illegal or Shady Activity
No piracy, no cheating on take-home assignments, no leaking proprietary code from your internship, no sketchy growth tactics. Don't put us in a weird spot.
No Impersonation or Fake Credentials
Don't pretend to be someone else, claim a job you don't have, or invent experience. Lying about a referral path is an instant ban.
No Excessive Tagging
Don't @mention people unless they actually need to see it. No @channel or @here unless it's genuinely urgent, and don't DM strangers asking them to look at your post.
Report Issues
If you spot something that breaks these rules, ping a moderator. We'd rather hear it from a member than find it ourselves a week later.
By being a member of buildercore.io you agree to follow these rules. They aren't there to be strict for the sake of it — they exist because every community that stays good stays good on purpose. Moderators reserve the right to remove members who break them, even if a specific situation isn't spelled out above. If something feels off, use your judgement and err on the side of being someone other members are glad to share a channel with. Thanks for helping keep this place worth showing up to.
